Our babysitting program is provided for the members who are participating in an activity, such as working out in the weight rooms, playing tennis, or lap swimming. Use of babysitting is by reservation only.
When it is time for the babysitting to begin, just bring the child to the office to check them in. The parent must remain on the premises while their child is in babysitting.
Monday – Thursday 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM & *5:00 PM to 8:30 PM
Friday 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM
*PLEASE NOTE: Evening babysitting staff person will not be scheduled unless a reservation has been made 24 hours in advance.
Six weeks to 7 years. NOTE: the number of infants we can schedule in any one-hour period is determined by the number of babysitting staff we have available. Children 6-weeks to 18-months old are considered infants.
CHECKING IN LATE:
Please be aware that the reservation hour begins at the time of the reservation and not at the time you come in with your child, after the appointed hour. When you are late to your reserved babysitting time, you may be called to pick-up your child at the end of your reserved hour. Our popular hours can be very full, and in order for us to keep the child/babysitter ratio as it should be, we need children checked out in order to accommodate other children that have reservations.
The hourly charge for babysitting is $3.00 for one child, and $2.00 for your second child in the same hour. You may pay with cash, check, or charge.
One reservation can be made up to one week in advance, in person or by phone. Another reservation can be made after the first reservation is used. Standing reservations are not allowed. Reservations need to be made 24 hours in advance. We do not have “drop-in” babysitting.
As a courtesy to others, please cancel as early as possible. Reservations not cancelled a minimum of 3 hours prior to your reserved time will result in a charge to your membership account. Club office hours are 8 AM to 8 PM, so reservations for any hour before 11 AM need to be cancelled the night before.
SIGNING IN AND OUT:
Parents must sign-in and sign-out each child. Make sure you mark the form that indicates CASH or CHARGE, otherwise the fee will be charged to your membership account.
Please do not bring your child if he or she is ill in any way. We want all of the children and the Babysitters to enjoy the benefits of good health. The Babysitter has the final decision to not take your child because of health concerns.
If your child needs items such as bottles, diapers, wipes or a security blanket, please bring them with you. PLEASE LABEL EVERYTHING!
Children are allowed to bring snacks when they come to babysitting.
