Players must be able to have fun, send the ball, age group 6 – 10 years!

Junior Tennis Program – 2024
Our new program, class structure, and admin services has been well received and parent / player centered:
Having a consistent group of players for 9 weeks will allow us to deliver more progressive drills to ensure that the kids are gaining more confidence with the skills they are learning.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
- Arrive at the club, check your player in with the coaches outside Court 4 for court assignment
- Senior Coaches are Certified by the PTR or USPTA, SafePlay approved, and have insurance
Juniors Clinic Schedule
CLASSES WILL BE CANCELED IF…
If the air quality index reaches (AQI) 150, we use (AirNow.gov) as a standard metric
If it rains and the courts are not playable
If the temperature reaches 90-95 degrees
- ***ALL conditions are based on the Clubs location ***
If classes are canceled, you will receive an email at LEAST 1 hour before the clinic starts.
GUIDELINES
Parents, please review and agree to the following rules before enrolling for a clinic.
- All players must bring their own water bottle and bring a racquet if you have one.
- If you do not have a racquet and want advice on the correct size, we can provide a loaner racquet, or you can purchase one in the office.
- Parents can watch their child playing tennis from the bleachers. On court observation is not allowed.
- If you are not able to attend your class, please notify sjbenchmarktennis@gmail.com or via phone at 1-669-322-8667 to schedule a makeup class.

Here are the session rates, recommended ages, and times for each of our clinics.
- Junior Red Starters: Ages 4-6 (4-year-old need coach approval), 40-minute class, Session Rates: Member: $180, Non-Member: $270
- For young beginners looking to learn tennis
- Junior Red 1: Ages 6-10, 60-minute class, Session Rates: Member: $225, Non-Member: $315
- For young beginner-to intermediate players- needs to demonstrate racquet control with forehands and backhands
- Junior Red-Orange 2: Ages 8-14, 60-minute class, Session Rates: Member: $225, Non-Member: $315
- For intermediate players- needs to demonstrate technical shots, ability to rally, serve, and begin to play points
- Junior Orange: Ages 8-16 with approval, 60-minute class, Session Rates: Member: $225, Non-Member: $315
- For higher intermediate players- needs to demonstrate technical shots with forehand, backhand, serves, match play and beginning directional intent
- Junior Green: Ages 10 and up with approval, 60-minute class, Session Rates: Member: $225, Non-Member: $315
- For intermediate to advance player- needs to demonstrate control with all shots, competitive match play, and advanced movement
- Junior Yellow: Ages 12 and up with approval, 120-minute class, Session Rates: Member: $405, Non-Member: $612
- For advanced players who are looking to play on their high school team on varsity and JV, learning match play strategies, plus technical parameters.

- Junior Red 1: 4:00-5:00 pm, court 4-5, max 12 players
- Junior Red-Orange 2: 4:00-5:00pm, court 4-5, max 8 players
- Junior Orange/Green: 5:00-6:00pm, courts 4-6, max 12/8 players
Tuesdays
